Monthly workshops for people living in Dennistoun. Workshops provide a safe space for people to socialise, meet other locals while getting creative.

12-week creative project for unpaid carers to improve confidence and wellbeing
in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire.

SOME PAST CREATIVE CLD PROJECTS

Arts4All, East Kilbride
Workshops for ASN Adults and their carers to improve wellbeing- We focused on what participants were able to do instead of what they could not, often overseen in ASN adults. Workshops took place face-to-face and then online during lockdown. Towards the end, I introduced peer-led activities.
Project led as part of SLC.
CWIN Family Service, Glasgow
Worked with refugees and asylum seekers families. I Led and coordinated different courses and workshops, including art activities.
I managed volunteers and sessional workers.
Worked on theme of integration, diversity, equality, self-esteem and integrity.
As part of Central West Integration Network.


YCare & No Knives better lives,
Glasgow
Designed and delivered YCare, a creative project on emotional wellbeing for young people at risk of offending behaviours. Also, adapted and delivered a course on knife prevention.
As part of Ypeople
Arte de Calle, Guatemala
Led a creative project on the streets of Guatemala.
It involved people experiencing homelessness and addicted to the solves. Also, I delivered workshops in rehab centres. The work was around self-esteem and self-worth.


International Citizenship Service, Guatemala
Led a multicultural team of volunteers to deliver a creative violence prevention programme in Guatemala. The project was aimed at young people living near the dump. Despite the language barriers, the project was successful. Responsible to lead volunteers development sessions as well as coordinating the project.
