Services

ARTernative provides a wide range of workshops, courses and training for individuals, communities and organisations.

Workshops are designed to help explore wellbeing under a new brighter and creative light. We use art materials to explore the “possibilities” around us and we use mindfulness to help us connect with those possibilities.

Art & Wellbeing Workshops or Courses for Communities

We deliver Art & Wellbeing workshop and courses in communities. We adapt our work to all age, gender, background and ability. No previous art experience required.

In our workshops, art is fun and an enjoyable experience. We remove the pressure of making something "perfect". We use visual art within a wellbeing approach. Each workshop starts with a short mindfulness exercise to help the group grounding themselves into the present moment.

Personalised Workshops and Courses for Communities (Issues-based)

Dealing with an issue in your community? Would you like to approach it in a more creative way? Then we are your people!

We are creative CLD workers that can design and adapt workshops and courses based on your needs. We can adapt our creative activity to generate discussion around a topic (e.g. making masks to generate discussion around Identity - what people see and cannot see).

We can cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • Addiction

  • Violence Prevention

Our goal is to ensure workshops are relevant to your groups. To do that, we would like to have an initial consultation to find out more about your group All workshops have a learning outcome and we use a CLD approach.
